Nicola Hume is an experienced automotive and motorsport presenter and broadcaster known for combining deep industry knowledge with a warm, natural interview style.

She is currently host of the Essential F1 Podcast, where she discusses the biggest stories, rivalries and developments shaping Formula One. Nicola also appears on leading electric vehicle platform Electrifying.com and has spent more than a decade reviewing and road-testing cars across some of the UK’s most respected automotive titles, including Auto Express, Carbuyer and What Car?. Her expertise spans everything from high-performance motorsport to the rapidly evolving electric vehicle landscape.

Nicola previously hosted the official Red Bull Racing podcast Talking Bull, interviewing drivers, engineers and key figures from across Formula One and bringing fans closer to the inner workings of the championship. A lifelong follower of the sport, her interviews are informed, insightful and shaped by a genuine understanding of the personalities and pressures within the F1 paddock.
