Mahi Maru

Mahi Maru is a 10-year-old British karting driver and rising motorsport creator whose focus, confidence and love for racing have already set her apart. With her sights firmly on a future in Formula 1, she is steadily building experience in a sport where young girls are still the minority.

In 2024, Mahi was invited by the FIA to the Motorsport Games, where she tested a Cross Car Mini. The moment was captured and shared across the FIA’s official channels. She later travelled to Maranello for a training session with Ferrari F1 Academy driver Maya Weug, giving her valuable insight into the world of karting at a higher level.

Her journey reached wider audiences when Lewis Hamilton played her video at the Singapore Grand Prix fan zone, introducing her story to millions of fans. She has also appeared multiple times on Simon Squibb’s platform, where her clarity and confidence around her dream resonated strongly with viewers.

Mahi has recently taken a major step forward by purchasing her first kart and joining a UK-based owner karting team. She is now preparing to compete alongside her brother in the 2026 owner karting season, marking a significant move into more competitive and independent racing.
