Biography
Emily is a presenter and journalist specialising in sustainability, current affairs and social and humanitarian issues. Emily is the co-founder and presenter of Green Britain TV, a documentary platform celebrating innovations across the UK and is a sustainability advisor for the Long Way Round TV series. She has a masters in Global Development and has worked in sustainability, TV and the third sector for the majority of her career.
Energetic, charismatic and curious, Emily loves to make her interviewees and audience feel at ease. She has hosted large-scale events from fundraisers to festival stages and co-hosted two weekly radio shows.
Emily is a keen traveller and has been lucky to travel to over 40 countries. Having studied anthropology she has a breadth of knowledge and interest in different cultures. She is a windsurfing instructor, rower, swimmer, and lover of anything on or in the water. She also holds a blue belt in kickboxing and is a frequent climber. She grew up in a motorbike-mad family and rides a KTM and off-road Honda.
