David Addison

David went to his first motor race aged five and was hooked instantly! An avid fan, he began commentating in 1991 and has become one of the most recognised British commentators in the sport. From Formula 1 to oval racing, television and track commentaries, awards dinners and press conferences, David has an enviable and unrivalled list of credits.

Since 2013, David has led the ITV4 commentary team for the Kwik Fit British Touring Car championship as well as the GT World Challenge Europe, FIA European Truck Racing Championship, British Rallycross and the prestigious Goodwood events.

As well as his television and track duties, David has worked in radio, covering the Le Mans 24 hours, in cinema for live F1 commentary and has commentated at over 60 different circuits across 17 different countries. It’s fair to say that if there is something David doesn’t know about motorsport, it probably isn’t worth knowing!
