Biography

Claire is a well-established broadcast journalist, working as a presenter, commentator and writer with strong links to motorsport. Thanks to her knowledge and consummate style, she’s gained a wealth of experience in live television and radio working for the most-respected outlets in sports and broadcasting.

From starting her career as a sports reporter at the BBC, Claire has since progressed into roles such as Formula 1 pit lane reporter for Channel 4 and BBC Radio 5 Live, as well as reporting and commentating on ITV’s coverage of the British Touring Car Championship. She was also given the responsibility of lead commentator for the inaugural W Series championship.

Her warm and captivating personality has also seen her host events for the likes of Aston Martin Formula 1 Team and F1 Experiences.

When not at a race track, Claire has worked for the Olympic Broadcast Committee in Tokyo reporting on the Paralympics and working on the Olympics for Eurosport. She’s also got experience covering football, cricket, and tennis.

Currently, Claire is working full-time in the Formula 1 paddock. Through her exclusive interviews or media pen questions, she has built up relationships with most key figures in the paddock, all whilst proudly representing a small pool of women in the media space. Her respected opinions, and strong but soothing tone, have also seen her recently featured on the popular Sky Sports F1 Podcast.
