Andrew Whitelaw

Andrew is a natural storyteller. His 15 years in sports broadcasting have taken him from hosting sports radio in Malaysia and Singapore, to six years with Fox Sports Asia, to his current role as Lead Interviewer at EssentiallySports. Along the way he has interviewed some of the biggest names in sport, from Conor McGregor to Caroline Wozniacki.

What sets Andrew apart is his versatility. He is equally comfortable commentating and presenting, so he can move between the two roles depending on what a production needs. His experience covers football, tennis and combat sports, on international events and in front of large live crowds.

He also has experience behind the camera and because he has worked as a producer as well as on screen, he understands what it takes to make a show, and he comes across as a team player who values the work of everyone around him.
