With a degree in journalism and two masters (including the prestigious Eurosport Masters in Sports Journalism) Marieta has an impressive proven track record as a hard-working and knowledgeable sports journalist and presenter.
Currently a co-host and pit reporter for the brand new PURE ETCR Championship, Marieta is well known in the industry for her experience working in a wide variety of motorsports disciplines from Indoor Trials to GT Racing.
During her eight full seasons working for Dorna on MotoGP, her insightful interviews with everyone from Valentino Rossi to Marc Marquez and beyond were syndicated to all international broadcasters: also making several in-depth documentaries with star riders. But don’t be fooled by her serious journalistic vigour: Marieta is a likeable, versatile, energised presenter, at ease with live pitlane interviews, press conferences, filmed content and event hosting.
She also works regularly on Heritage & History projects, including presenting live events and short documentaries for the celebrated Thames Festival. In September 2020, Marieta hosted London’s Newham official commemorations of the 80th Anniversary of the start of the London Blitz. Plenty of social media content creation credits too, including work for London Royal Docks, Newham Heritage Festival as well as her own Live Interview show on Facebook, which attracted some big names from the worlds of sport and politics.
Long-time UK-resident, Marieta speaks four languages – English, Spanish, Catalan and Italian.
