Having started off on YouTube, where she has a following of over 50,000 subscribers and 2,000,000 channel views, Derin is best known for her lifestyle, travel and student advice videos which has seen her work on brand campaigns with the likes of Natwest, Vodafone, Scholastic and Public Health England and has also seen her present for BBC Bitesize, British Council and BAFTAs. She is also UK Ambassador for Adobe and regularly sits on panels to discuss connecting with Gen Z audiences – most recently speaking at the FIA’s Annual Conference in Monaco.
With a flair for presenting, Derin decided to apply for Formula E’s Open Talent Call for Presenters in 2020, which she eventually won out of 800 applicants and is now a presenter for the World Championship, providing digital coverage for social media, broadcast coverage for Eurosport and she also presented Formula E’s digital Esports show: Accelerate as well as hosting a video for the UNICEF on a partnership project with FE.
Derin is now working with a number of high profile brands and partners creating content, hosting events and representing them as an influencer. You may well have seen her on your screens around numerous Rugby stadiums as she settles in as a regular Rugby League and Union live host, which just goes to show how versatile she really is!
Her love of life, travel and culture is documented in her you tube diaries where the insight she gives into her world is reaching ever growing followers and there you can also see her recent work with London Fashion week, beauty brands and in education.
