Deana produced and presented the UK’s first ever Arab and North African radio show and was dubbed as the ‘MENA region’s voice in the UK’ by Re-Volt hip hop magazine. Her drive to highlight the rich culture and achievements of the MENA region and its diaspora has led her to create engaging content for social media as well as the commissioned TV series Musconceptions debunking myths about Islam.
She is also the official host of the UK Muslim Women Awards and a former school teacher!
