Having started his career racing, Chris found his way initially to television production and then onto commentary. This background gives him a great deal of knowledge and edge over his peers as he has the practical experience in both areas.
Starting by commentating on The British, European and World Karting championships he soon moved on to esports, single-seaters and GT racing. Working for broadcasters including Eurosport, BT Sport & Motorsport Network, Chris is equally as comfortable in front of the camera as he is on the commentator mic bringing an air of calm to his delivery… which can soon escalate to major excitement where needed!
In 2020 Chris was part of the line up commentating the very first Virtual 24h Le Mans and he has continued to work with the Le Mans Series since as a staple member of the team and in 2022 Le Mans 24H became another transformation to reality as Chris could be heard all around the circuit as a lead commentator for the the event organisers.
With his passion for the youth of the sport, he was an obvious choice to be appointed the series commentator for the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and he continues to work closely with the Formula Regional brand globally.
Chris has always had Formula One in his sights and that dream is slowly becoming closer to reality as in 2022 he joins the official Formula One broadcasting team as a commentator for the Formula 2 and Formula 3 races which are broadcast globally.
