Alex Outhwaite is an award nominated television presenter with shows broadcast in 30 countries including the UK, USA & Canada. Known for her adventure & travel TV shows highlighting lesser visited destinations such as Kashmir, Uzbekistan and El Salvador, Alex’s show on Travelxp ‘Off The Grid’, was nominated for Travel Show of the Year at the Indian Television Awards.
After winning cooking competition ‘Herb Heroes’ judged by Masterchef’s John Torode, Alex was chosen to present the travel and cookery show ‘Quest’ on SKY in the UK which saw her recreate ‘forgotten dishes’ in 17 states around India. She has also fronted property show ‘Hushh’ on Property TV and lifestyle show ‘The Weekender’ on Made TV.
She has built up a huge social media following from her work and has earned nominations for Content Creator of the Year on 3 occasions including at the USA Media Awards, Vuelio Awards 2020 and Trav Media Awards.
Alex has regularly spoken at events about sustainability at the Global Peace Chain Summit 2020 and Allianz Climate Camp for Formula E. Her live presenting work has also included the worldwide launch of Bixby for Samsung in San Francisco, as well as other tech work for Oculus and Samsung Gear VR. In 2020 Alex was the host of the ‘More Than Words’ podcast sponsored by Rosetta Stone with guests such as Countdown’s Susie Dent and footballing star David James.
