Full Circle: Our Story with the FIA Gala Awards

1st December 2025

As the 2025 FIA Champions are crowned at this year’s Gala Awards, it’s given us a moment to reflect on our long and personal relationship with this prestigious event.

Back in 2004, our co-founder Louise Beckett was lucky enough to attend the Gala as a guest, held that year in Monaco, as it had been for many years. Michael Schumacher was crowned Formula One World Champion that night — and it was watching from the audience that Louise found her inspiration.

In her own words:

"Watching the presenters on stage, welcoming and congratulating all the winners, I remember thinking: I want to do that. I want to be on that stage, hosting this incredible night of motorsport.

So I set out on my journey as a motorsport reporter. Throughout my career I worked across pit lane reporting and presenting in touring cars, single seaters, rally and endurance racing, and on a number of FIA championships. Then in 2014, the FIA asked me to host their end-of-year Gala.

It was a huge honour to host the event alongside Allan McNish, and to realise the ambition I’d set myself ten years earlier."

Around 2019, Louise began looking at where the industry was heading — broadcasting, social media, and the rapid growth of motorsport worldwide. Together with co-founder Gemma Scott, they set up LoudSpeaker Agency: a home for the broadcasting and presenting talent shaping the next era of the sport. Drawing on the contacts they’d both built over decades in the pit lane and on air, they set out to create opportunities for established names and rising stars alike.

In 2022, the FIA came to LoudSpeaker Agency asking who we would recommend to host the Gala Awards. It was a full-circle moment we’ll never forget - proof that everything we’d set out to build, we had truly achieved and that relationship is still going strong to this day as year on year we provide the FIA with hosts for not only this but many of their stand-out events

As the industry evolves, and as our own careers and ambitions evolve with it, so has our relationship with this special event. We remain immensely proud of what we achieved in our own presenting careers. But nothing beats the pride we feel now, watching the exceptional talent on our roster take to that same stage — carrying sport, and the next generation of broadcasting, forward with them.

Here’s to another year of celebrating the best in motorsport, and to the LoudSpeaker talent lighting up stages like this one for years to come.
